Geekdom Announces Opening of Basement Level and Podcast Studio
Geekdom has announced the expansion of its community with the addition of a basement level – 8,271 square feet of new space, as well as a new Geekdom Podcast Studio at The Rand Building.
“The time has come for the expansion to continue at Geekdom, which means more innovators, more collaborators, more entrepreneurs, more builders – all in the heart of downtown San Antonio in the Tech District,” said Geekdom COO David Garcia, Jr. “We’re adding some flare with the podcast studio, which will be available for Geekdom members to create and broadcast a variety of content to build better businesses and a better city.”
The podcast studio will include state-of-the-art equipment that will allow for the more than 1,500 members of Geekdom to use for content development, broadcasting, and a variety of recordings.
The basement and studio are slated to open in Fall 2017, providing more space and resources to the burgeoning community.
